The Blue Moon Bungalow Bed &
Breakfast in Bunkie, Louisiana, is in close proximity
to historic places and
cultural activities in and around central and south Louisiana.
The Blue
Moon is named in honor of Bunkie's "Blue Moon Nite Club", where world-famous
entertainers of the 30's, 40's, and 50's era performed.
The spacious
retreat is enclosed within a six-foot fence for privacy and can accommodate up
to four people.
It features a queen-size bed, a full-size futon, a 32" TV
with DVD,
wi-fi connection, full kitchen, private dressing area, and bath
with shower.
Just outside your front door is a relaxing 7,000 gallon
swimming pool and covered patio to unwind
after a day's exploration.
Stretch out in a rocker on the patio or on the porch of nearby Winsum
Centennial Cottage.
Your host, Louisiana ink artist, Martin J. Benoit, will
be readily available.
Located in downtown Bunkie, where church bells
ring the morning, noon, and evening times, and passing freight trains harken
back to an earlier age,
the Blue Moon Bungalow is within walking distance of
the post office, banks, the library, a walking track, and city hall.
Take a
day trip to various historic towns and sites in central Louisiana.
Sites in
the larger cities of Natchitoches, Alexadria, Lafayette, or Baton Rouge are
near enough to visit, as well.
The Blue Moon Bungalow is an oasis from
the demands of daily life.
Come and make your own memories at the Blue Moon
Bungalow Bed & Breakfast.
